BEST CURRENT EXPOSITION 

 “Zurbarán (super)natural

Last month, one of our guides took a photo of a kid sculpture, and she thought about Zurbaran and this painting of Sant Francis. To our surprise, the MNAC has a brand new temporary exposition about him, and we might not be too far from their idea, as they say in the brochure: “This exhibition will also show how Zurbarán’s work reaches contemporaneity and will place it in relation to works by contemporary artists”.

TOUR OF THE MONTH

BARCELONA IN A DAY
This is a tour for our visitors who would like to see some of Barcelona’s highlights. The tour will take you around the city’s oldest parts and show you two of the most important projects from Antoni Gaudí. This tour is a fascinating combination of ancient Barcelona and the modern city. With 2,000 years of difference between the two areas, there are so many hidden and exciting histories to listen to.

Easter Monday

A curious tradition in Catalunya for Easter Monday is the so-called ” Mona de Pascua”. Godparents will buy you one of these amazing Chocolate decorations that you can find in almost any bakery around the region.
Mostly, the decorations will represent football stars, cartoons, and movie characters.

The famous cat at Rambla del Raval is one of Fernando Botero’s works, which you can find here in Barcelona. Not too far away, the Palau Martorell has an exposition about his fascinating work. Both the building and the Expo are worth the visit.

TOUR OF THE MONTH

TAPAS & FLAMENCO
This tour includes a pleasant walk through Barcelona’s historic center. We will stop at two or three typical restaurants to eat delicious tapas.
