Dali Museum figueres guided tour

Dali’s Museum in Figueres.

Dali’s Museum in Figueres opened in 1974 after an extensive remodeling and refurbishment of a former abandoned theater.

At the Dalí Museum, you’ll discover that all the works, paintings, and objects displayed there were chosen by Dalí, to offer future visitors an unforgettable and surrealist experience. But it’s not just the inside that’s his creation, on the outside squares surrounding the museum you can see some unique sets of sculptures designed by him. The peculiar transparent rectangular-shaped dome that crowns the building has become an icon and emblem of the city of Figueres. Dalí spent his last years living at Torre Galatea, a round structure just next to the museum. And he’s buried there too; you can see his grave from two different places inside the museum.

Hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world visit it every year, and having an expert guide will ensure that you get the maximum enjoyment out of this magical place. Our guides will lead you through the museum, making sure you see Abraham Lincoln’s face, the furniture set up that becomes Mae West’s face if you look at it through a lens, the “Palau del vent,” a room with Dalí’s version of the Sistine Chapel, and much more.

It’s quite a big museum, so don’t worry if we skip a few minor works. Of course, visiting the Dalí Museum in Figueres with a licensed guide means that you’ll have Priority Access.

Before leaving we’ll have some time for a light bite in Figueres.

Visit with us the Dali’s museum in Figueres and combine it with other visits.

Figueres with train

Figueres with AVE (high-speed train).

We are working to offer as many tours as possible using public transportation, trying to help as much as possible. Figueres is reachable with our high-speed train, and it does not take longer than driving (avoiding traffic during rush hours). The train leaves from Sants (the main train station in Barcelona) and arrives at Figueres in 50 m approx) we then need a quick taxi ride to reach the Museum.

We visit the Museum, and afterward, we can take a nice walk around the city and have a nice lunch before returning to Barcelona.

Let us know your interest in taking the Train option, and we’ll calculate the price for you ( train tickets cost might change during the year).

Great tour of Barcelona

I was in Barcelona for two weeks with two different groups. I booked Skip the Line Barcelona at the last minute just hoping for some generic info and no standing in line. What we got instead was two very good guides, great information, very professional, and a tour that far exceeded my expectations! This is a small company and now I know two of the three employees! I highly recommend it!
I got quick responses to my questions via email, it was easy to pay in advance and they chose a very easy meeting place– especially since we were coming by Metro. Would definitely use it again!

Highly recommended tour of the Sagrada Familia!

Very good organization. Everything went according to plan. 1.5 hour tour in English. The microphone system with headphones is very practical and discreet.
Our guide Alberto was passionate and thrilling! Thanks again to him for this very complete visit, and all the details on Barcelona, Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia. We have seen it all …
We were able to stay afterwards and continue to stroll, noses in the air …
Much emotion in this magical place, and for the genius of Gaudi.

Exciting tour of Sagrada Familia with a passionate guide

1 hour 30 minutes of happiness!
The commentaries in perfect English provided all the insights needed to understand, appreciate and taste the technical, religious and architectural feats desired by Gaudi. Visit to do absolutely.

Sagrada Familia with a professional guide

Albert was great. He was informative and flexible helping us make the most of our tour. I highly recommend getting a private tour of this site. Without it, we would have missed so much. Thank you!
