SAGRADA FAMILIA
To discover the incredible history of Antoni Gaudí’s yet unfinished project, we’ll visit the inside of the Sagrada Família, the most visited monument in Spain and one of the few places in the world capable of surprising even the most experienced travelers.
PARK GÜELL
One of the best examples of the friendship and collaboration between Eusebio Güell and Antoni Gaudí. Güell was one of Barcelona’s wealthiest businessmen, and Gaudí was his main architect; together, they embarked on quite a few projects, the biggest of which was Park Güell with its bench, lizard, and gingerbread-looking houses… the Park is certainly full of surprises!
GOTHIC QUARTER
We’ll take a pleasant stroll around the area to discover our heritage, which goes back to the foundations of “Barcino” around 17 BC. There are still some very well-preserved Roman ruins in this area, and most Roman walls are still standing; sometimes, we can see them just by walking around, and sometimes, we need to go inside “patios” or even underground to find them. The Gothic Quarter is also where we can learn about our Jewish heritage and, of course, where you will discover a fascinating group of Gothic buildings in the same area.
