Best of Barcelona tour a tour for those that would like to see the highlights of our city but with not so much walking included. It is a perfect tour to get an idea of Barcelona’s most important areas and History.
First, we’ll take you on a short half an hour walking tour around the Gothic Quarter, where you’ll have the chance to discover the Roman origins of Barcelona. We’ll see the medieval buildings, like the Cathedral, the old Royal Palace, and the Medieval Jewish section. It is very curious to discover how such old buildings and walls have survived all these centuries. The Gothic Quarter still has neighbors living surrounded by history. On one same street, we can see a medieval building and some modern apartment buildings.
We will drive around the harbor area towards Montjuïch to admire some fantastic panoramic views of the city. In Montjuïc, we can take a glimpse at the area from the 92′ Olympic Games and the 29’s World Fair Pavilions. Two of the major events that the city has held during the 20th century.
We’ll then admire the Batlló and Mila’s Houses (two of Gaudi’s masterpieces), on the Passeig de Gracia. Both designed by Antoni Gaudí.
We’ll conclude arriving at the Sagrada Familia, unfinished Gaudi’s church, and the most visited monument of the city.
This one is the best option to gain a general idea of this beautiful city. If you would like to see some of the Highlights but you don’t need to have a chauffeured tour, we recommend you then to book this other tour,
Or you can combine Gaudi’Masterpieces and the Rambla & Gothic Quarter, for an 8 hours city tour.
